Tuscany is probably the most photographed region in Italy, which means it's also the easiest place to end up with photos that look like everyone else's. We photograph it differently. Not the postcard version, but the real one: the heat of a July afternoon, the smell of wild herbs on a hillside, the way a Chianti villa feels at dusk when the guests have moved inside and the light is still doing something extraordinary outside. We've been working in Tuscany since 2015, and we still find new things to notice every time.

We're Ludovica and Valerio, wedding photographers based in Northwest Italy and deeply familiar with Tuscany. Over the past ten years we've documented weddings across the region, from intimate elopements in Val d'Orcia and San Gimignano to larger celebrations in Chianti, the Maremma, and the hills around Siena. We work quietly and instinctively, staying close to what's actually happening rather than what's supposed to happen. The result is photography that feels like your day, not like a location shoot.
